The first word that comes to mind when thinking of Kelly Smith is “passion.” She has passion in the classroom and on the softball field. She speaks of the game as if she breaths it in, with each breath she takes.  Kelly Smith is a freshman at Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida. She is the epitome of a STUDENT-ATHLETE boasting a 4.3 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale. Her amazing accomplishments in the classroom have national and international University’s (Stanford, Northwestern, Cambridge, and Oxford) inviting her to attend summer academic programs. I am very confident that once her talents on the softball field are noticed she will soon be receiving that same type of attention from the athletic departments of Stanford and Northwestern. more about Kelly
